What is "hei-di-ho"?

Hei-di-ho sessions enable children and their parents/carers to have fun through participating together and becoming familiar to a new creative play experience through the medium of Welsh.

Children will gain confidence in the company of others by sharing, promoting self awareness and awareness of others, as well as the confidence and ability to express themselves creatively and respond to rhythm and music.

Learning is fun at hei-di-ho; offering the opportunity to sing welsh nursery rhymes, action songs and to play musical instruments. Through rhyme and repetition children learn numbers, colours, body parts and much, much more.

"Exposure to music during the early years enhances the learning process by promoting language development, creativity, co-ordination and social interaction. Caregivers can play an important role in incorporating music and movement into a childs life."
